Doctors then suggested surgery, but as he was too young, and on the hospital’s children’s ward, Pushkina said that she couldn’t have it done, to the cost of 350 thousand rubles. She asked the child’s mother to terminate the pregnancy in an early stage. But as she also rejected the idea, Plushenko turned to President Putin.
