Number of deaths in riots in Kazakhstan increased to ten

The number of victims of mass riots in southern Kazakhstan increased to 10. This is reported on February 9 by Habar 24 TV channel. According to the TV channel, another victim died as a result of a mass fight in the Kordai district. Thus, the total number of deaths so far is ten. Earlier, the news agency reported that eight people were killed during mass riots in the Kordai district of Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan, injuries of different severity were sustained by about 40 people. Two victims in serious condition were taken to Almaty by military aircraft. The President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev said that the situation in the area where the PE was stabilized, all who provoked the fight will be brought to justice, the victims will be assisted. The investigation of the situation is under the personal control of the Attorney General of the country.
