Driver's license in Kyrgyzstan cheaper by 25%


The authorities of Kyrgyzstan reduced the cost of issuing driving permits by 25%, to 540 soms (557 rubles). This was reported to the State Registration Service of the Republic on March 10. The cost has been reduced since March 1, 2020. In addition, the cost of removing the car from the register decreased by 10%, to 1,716 soms (1,769 rubles). The amounts are shown without taking into account tax fees and non-tax payments, which depend on the engine capacity. According to the news agency, in August 2019 the banknote factory of the National Bank of Kazakhstan became the winner of the tender for the production of driver's license forms in Kyrgyzstan.
