Nintendo decided to increase the volume of production of Switch consoles


Nintendo decided to produce more portable Switch consoles amid increased demand. This was announced on April 20 by Eurogamer portal. Journalists drew attention to an article in the Nikkei Asian Review, which reports that the volume of orders covering the period from April to June 2020, which the company sent to suppliers, increased by 50% more than expected. Insiders also note that Nintendo will release about 2020 more of these gaming devices 10% year than in 2019. Recall, in 2019 the company shipped about 20 million Switch consoles to sellers. Earlier, the media reported that due to quarantine events introduced on the wharf of the coronavirus epidemic, many US stores were missing from the sale of first the full-size Switch version and then its lightweight Switch Lite version.
