Head of company Dyson told about failed competitor Tesla
The head of the British company Dyson James Dyson shared details about the electric car, which was supposed to become a competitor to electric models Tesla, with the publication The Sunday Times. According to him, as early as autumn 2019 Dyson decided to close the project for the production of its own electric vehicles. The Dyson model was supposed to be similar to the Range Rover. At the same time on one battery charge it was possible to drive by car 965 km, and from 0 to 100 km/h the competitor Tesla had to accelerate in 4.8 s, he noted. Serial production was expected to take place in Singapore. 600 Dyson specialists were involved in the project. The company's electric vehicle was to be equipped with hard batteries developed by Dyson. At the same time, according to Dyson, despite the fact that the project could not be implemented, the company will continue to develop batteries. The head of the company added that the batteries will be in the future in Dyson products, and will also go for sale. We remind that Dyson is engaged in the production of high-tech vacuum cleaners, fens and hand dryers. Three years ago, the company planned to release its electric car.
