In eastern Afghanistan, one person was killed in a market explosion

One person was killed and ten injured in an explosion in a market in eastern Afghanistan. This is reported on May 17 by the Afghan TV channel Ariana News. The explosion took place in Khost Province. Two people were killed and ten others, including two police officers, were injured as a result of an explosive device on the ground. The circumstances and causes of the incident are established. To date, none of the factions operating in the region have claimed responsibility for the explosion. Earlier, the news agency reported an increase in the number of victims of the explosion during the funeral ceremony of a police officer in Nangarhar Province.
