438 people accused of ties with FETO arrested in Turkey

Turkish law enforcement agencies arrested at least 438 suspects in connection with FETO. This was reported on June 22 by Anadolu Ajansi. Detention was carried out on the basis of arrest warrants issued by the country's prosecutor's office. Over the past eight months, law enforcement agencies have already detained 847 accused of ties with this organization. According to the news agency, on July 15, 2016, an attempted military coup took place in Turkey, as a result of the suppression of which 251 people died, about 2 thousand 200 people were injured. FETO and its leader, religious preacher Fethullah Gulen, who lives in the United States, were accused of organizing the putsch. The thinker rejects such claims, but is in no hurry to return to Turkey.
