I didn't run in a dress: 50 years since the death of Kerensky

11 June 1970 in new York from colon cancer died Alexander Kerensky – Minister-President of the Provisional government, a prominent figure in the Russian emigration, author and poet. He was 89 years old. Shortly before his death, Kerensky met with Soviet journalist Genrikh Borovik and asked to debunk the myth that in October 1917 he allegedly fled from the Winter Palace in a dress.
