The cavalry fell into a trap: as Wrangel defeated red

July 3, 1920, the Russian army of General Peter Wrangel defeated the red cavalry under the command of Dmitry Goons to the North-East of Melitopol. White went to thousands of prisoners and a rich booty, and the Red army was forced to retreat. The defeat of the cavalry group of Goons who tried to cut the enemy from the road to the Crimea is considered the greatest success of the whites in 1920.
