Two explosions were recorded near the city of Tikrit in the Iraqi province of Salah al-Din at the Spiker air base, which is also called Majeda al-Tamimi, on July 28, Al Sumaria TV channel reports citing the country's armed forces. The site contains Iraqi and American troops. After the explosions in the base, a strong fire began, which is already localized. According to the channel, the cause of the explosions was the detonation of ammunition in the warehouse. There were no casualties during the incident. According to the news agency, on July 27, the military base of Camp Al-Taji, north of Baghdad, was fired with rockets. During the attack, the Mi-17 helicopter of the Iraqi Air Force was damaged.
