Accused of preparing a cyber attack on Tesla, Russian pleaded not guilty

Russian citizen Yegor Kryuchkov in court did not plead guilty to preparing a cyber attack on the company Ilona Mask Tesla, reports Associated Press.The hearing in the case is scheduled for December 1, until that time the Russian will remain under arrest, it is indicated. According to the data provided to the U.S., Kryuchkov is believed to be an expert in gathering cyber weapons for use against an enemy and may also have been engaged in organizing hacking attacks against a state or an organized group of people, who are working to defeat Russian law and internal security. He was arrested on June 15 after Russia filed an extradition request. Kryuchkov denies the allegations. The U.S. has lodged a number of such extradition requests with Russian authorities in recent years. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Elle magazine, the United States and the United Kingdom all received some kind of cyber-attacks from Kremlin-controlled hackers, known as the Lazarus Group.
