It will be even worse: the United States threatened the Russian Federation because of the situation in Belarus

The US State Department said that relations with Russia will deteriorate if it openly uses force and intervenes in the Belarusian crisis. At the same time, Washington intends to continue negotiations with Moscow, Minsk and the EU regarding the situation in Belarus. The Russian authorities emphasized that they did not intend to interfere in the internal processes of the neighboring state.
